Scrivener Coupons & Promo Codes

Scrivener Code Verification

Once you start searching the internet, you will encounter numerous different Scrivener coupon codes, but not all of them work. I have tested four of them to confirm that they show the 20% discount with no errors. Codes I have checked include the following, and all of them offer 20% discount:

1. REDDIT – this is one of the most shared coupon codes on the web. It has been active for a while, and I have confirmed it still works at checkout.
2. KINDLEPRENEUR – this code is related to Kindlepreneur (self-publishing and writing source). I have tested it, and it works on the checkout.
3. LEARNSCRIVENER – this code is tied to several Scrivener tutorial resources, and it works fine at checkout.
4. WORDSWITHJAM – this code is originally connected to a writing community, and at checkout, it works great, showing the promised 20% discount.

I tested all four codes at checkout, and all of them showed the same result: $12,00 reduction on a $59.99 list price. The final price ended up being $47,99 before tax. All the aforementioned codes have no difference in terms of the value they deliver, since they all give the same discount percentage.

How Much Can You Save?

As aforementioned, all four codes apply the same discount, so you will end up saving the same amount of money, regardless of the code you choose to apply. This is a full breakdown:

• Full list price: $59.99
• Discount with the code – 20%: $12.00
• Final price before tax: $47.99

From what I’ve seen, Scrivener does not have a habit of running regular promotional activities, so with these codes, you can find a significant way to pay less than full price.

How to Use a Scrivener Coupon Code?

Applying the Scrivener coupon code is easier, and it’s intuitive even for first-time users. The exact steps you need to follow include:

1. Visit Scrivener – before being able to apply the code, you must visit Literature & Latte store – go to literatureandlatte.com and click on the Scrivener purchase page.
2. Select your OS version – you can choose between Windows and Mac, or a cross-platform bundle – choose the one that suits your needs the most.
3. Proceed to checkout – add the chosen version of Scrivener to the cart and proceed to the payment section.
4. Apply the code – at checkout, find a field named coupon or discount code – it will be shown in the form of a fillable box where you can enter the code you wish to apply, and enter it there.
5. Verify – once you click apply, make sure that the discount is applied correctly and shown in the total amount to pay before tax.
6. Complete purchase – proceed to enter your payment details and finish the order.

The code should apply immediately and should reflect in the total amount you need to pay. If that is not the case, make sure to double-check for any extra spaces or spelling errors. One important note I’d like to add here is that the codes work only if you download Scrivener through the Literature & Latte website – the code doesn’t work for purchases on the App Store or Google Store.

Scrivener Free Trial

I have a good news for you which is Scrivener offers a 30-day-use free trial offer for macOS and Windows before purchase. This is very convenient for users who don’t wish to buy it immediately, before they manage to try out its features. One very cool thing to mention here is that the 30-day trial doesn’t mean 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of download, but 30 actual days you have used Scrivener.

What does this mean in practice? If you download Scrivener today, but start using it every day only after a month, the trial will basically last 60 days. After download, Scrivener automatically runs in trial mode, which is a great way to check its features before you decide to purchase the full version (make sure not to forget to apply one of the discount codes).

Scrivener Money-back Guarantee

If you choose to purchase Scrivener through their official store (Literature & Latte), your purchase will be eligible for a 30-day refund policy. This basically means that if you opt to buy Scrivener, you have 30 days to decide whether it’s for you or not. The refund process works smoothly, as it is handled by their support team. All you have to do is reach out to them and raise a refund request.

One important thing to mention here is that this refund policy is valid only for purchases made through the official store. If you buy an app from the App Store, for example, the refunds are handled by Apple, which means they might have a different refund policy. From my experience, it’s better to purchase via the official store to ensure the 30-day money-back guarantee and reduce the financial risk.

Is Scrivener Worth It?

Scrivener is the right type of buy for the right type of users, and the 20% off you can get with one of the four codes I’ve tried, and a 30-day money-back guarantee, makes it a good deal. Scrivener is the best for those who write in long formats on a daily basis, such as novelists, screenwriters, researchers, and others.

The code itself will not make a substantial influence on your decision – if you need Scrivener, you need it – it will just make it financially easier. Scrivener is perfect for students working on dissertations, bloggers, or any other writer focusing on substantial and complex documents.

Conclusion

I have tested and verified four Scrivener promo codes, and all of them have delivered up to expectations. Regardless of the code I’ve applied (REDDIT, KINDLEPRENEUR, LEARNSCRIVENER, and WORDSWITHJAM), I’ve seen a 20% discount at checkout, which amounts to a saving of $12.00. This promo code, combined with a 30-day free trial and 30-day money-back guarantee, makes the Scrivener definitely worth it.
